These guidelines are valid for online, email and phone catering orders with LAMOUR DE KC, LLC - LAMOURCATERING.COM We take great pride in preparing fresh ingredients of greens, soups, and meats daily. For this reason, we require at least 48 – 72 hour advance notice when ordering most catered menu items. Rushed orders are accommodated when possible.
Deposits, Payments, and Cancellations
For email, phone, and in-house ordering, a deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the estimated total bill of $800 or more is required 7 days prior to the scheduled function. The balance is due two (2) days prior to the event date. We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
(a) Should it become necessary for the Client to cancel their order, and the event date is greater than fourteen (14) days, Caterer will fully refund any deposit or amount paid by the Client within seven (7) business days of the date of cancellation.
(b) All cancellations made between 3 to 14 days of the scheduled event, Caterer shall be entitled and will retain thirty percent (30%) of the total catering cost, and seek any additional expenditures to date, including but not limited to contracted labor, special orders, rentals, and/or proposals costs.
(c) In the event of a cancellation less than 48 hours before the scheduled event date, Caterer shall be entitled and will retain any deposit paid or fifty percent (50%) of the total catering cost and seek any additional expenditures to date, including but not limited to contracted labor, special orders, rentals and/or proposals costs.
(d) In the event of a cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled event date, Client agrees to pay the Caterer in full (100%) of the total costs of the order placed and any additional losses including but not limited to contracted labor, special orders, rentals and/or proposals costs.
(e) Should the event be canceled by Caterer, Caterer will fully refund any deposit or any amount paid by the Client within seven (7) business days of the date of cancellation.
If an unusual or uncontrollable circumstance arises, and Caterer must make any menu changes, substitute items of comparable quality will be served. When possible, the Client will be notified of any changes in advance. Please note: Both parties, the Client and Caterer, must be informed and receive a confirmation notification of the cancellation through email, text, or fax. No cancellations will be accepted verbally. Any retained deposits and cancellation fees cannot be applied to future events.
